In our Brookline Village workshop, Igor carefully inspects every natural and antique stone for edge wear or structural stress before hand-crafting a gold or platinum setting tailored around your diamond's exact dimensions.
5. Independent Lab Grading & Bench Security
Most major diamonds are accompanied by independent grading reports from laboratories like GIA or IGI to confirm color, clarity, and cut dimensions. However, documentation varies by supplier, stone size, and diamond style—smaller accent stones, specialized cuts, or rustic diamonds do not always come with individual lab certificates. Stone Sourcing & Consultations:
We review loose stone options together during an in-person consultation or through custom sourcing requests.- $350 In-House & Lab-Grown Deposit: For designs using in-house diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, or customer-supplied heirlooms. Covers 3D CAD design, up to 2 revisions, and a physical 3D resin model to try on.
- $500 Vault Natural Deposit: Required when sourcing rare or origin-certified earth-mined diamonds from supplier vaults. Covers insured priority shipping to Brookline, a 7-day private shop viewing, 3D CAD design, and a physical 3D resin try-on model.

Physical 3D Resin Model Try-On:
Before pouring metal, we print a physical 3D resin model of your ring in our shop. You can try it on your finger in person to confirm scale, height, and overall proportions. -
On-Site Bench Casting & Setting:
Once you approve the resin print, we cast the mounting in 14K gold, 18K gold, or platinum on-site. Igor hand-files the mounting and sets your center stone directly on our local bench.
