Lab documentation is typically reserved for rare, unheated, or higher-value gems. How Sourcing & Custom Design Works

  1. Gem Sourcing & Viewing:
    You can check our active loose stones in our online Gemstone Vault or share your ideal specs with us. We hand-curate loose sapphires through our supplier networks and local trade connections, so preparing a private viewing tray typically takes 3 to 5 business days. Our $500 Vault Deposit covers priority insured shipping to Brookline, a 7-day private shop viewing window, 3D CAD design, and a physical 3D resin model. 100% of the deposit applies directly to your finished ring total.
  2. Physical 3D Resin Model Try-On:
    Before pouring metal, we print a physical 3D resin model of your ring. You can stop by our Brookline Village shop to try it on your finger to check height, scale, and fit in person.
  3. On-Site Casting & Hand-Setting:
    Once you approve the resin print, we cast the mounting in 14K gold, 18K gold, or platinum on-site. The mounting is hand-filed and the prongs are fitted directly around your sapphire for a safe, secure hold.
